Dried blood garnet. Fruit giving way to bouquet. Dusky marzipan velvet, more levels than an antique mall, black walnut cocoa tahini bring on dried-rose cleavage punctuated with brassy nipples. As we all know, “proprietary” is a fancy word for “Syrah added” and as opposed as I am to such fattening additions, Veeder Block 19 has been a fav of mine for DECADES. This pre-teen lovely is showing all the proper blossoming and nuance.
