Chrome Plated

Medium ruby all the way out to thin clear edges. Hot alcoholic nose jammed with fruit FWD goodness and dusky funk definitely Paso Robles and not Spain. Dark dull ripeness frosted with cinnamon and allspice decadence somewhat overpowering the fruit.

In the mouth, a fullness stretching the possibilities of Tempranillo almost immediately cut short by wracking tannins. A middle barely exists, and if it does, *flabby* comes to mind. It goes straight from hot fruited entry to hot burning finish, with a semi-truck of tannin being drug along.

A wine like this you have to ask yourself: Will it age? It definitely has the tannin, and the fruit appears to somewhat be there, but these wines are not designed for aging–a tiny production, urban tasting room and no cult following decry cellaring. I somewhat like this wine, and while this review may seem harsh, I challenge you to find it and try for yourself. These are most interesting wines
