So Many Rules

Pinot rosé is like kissing your sister.
Sure, it’s rosé–but it’s Pinot!
I’m ridiculously picky about the rosé I purchase–or accept. Rule #1 being Grenache and Rule #2 being color. This one passed on the merit of the latter, obviously. And it’s good! Nice prickly green briar supporting the peach fuzz of fruit and a strawberry seed caught in your teeth, crunchy and brittle and surrounding a core of sweetly bitter life, bathed in oily light and sharp as lemon thorns.
