A bright shade of creamy yellow. Massive green apple, pear-sauce, candied yam and wet bark lay down a bouquet rich and opulent, creamed honey-butter and earth combining for a swell foundation.
In the mouth, a bitter edge on all that ripe buttery fruit tell you this is a big wine, but NOT to be confused with your mother’s Chardonnay. Green herbaceousness controls the middle, sparking a definite tie-in to the flintiness of the nose. Peaceful in substance while mouth-filling and ridiculously balanced, the finish is something of white-wine dreams, all the sharpness and sweetness and dankness working together.
This little producer needs to be on everybody’s radar. Oh, and the labels don’t suck either.
