A beautiful SYV Riesling from Curtis (do they still call it that?), rosy and sharp, chunky with peat and melon in a hazy presentation. Well-stuffed with smoky brilliance wafting off crisp Thompson Seedless and Granny Smith. The minuscule creaminess a little barrel-age grants to the texture butters it up a bit beyond typical stark Teutonic presentations. It’s a delicious wine.
