Perfect varietal garnet brick throughout, maybe a bit *too much* for 3 years, but never gonna complain about this color in Pinot or Grenache. A thin rim of clear edges the mercurochrome. Thick luscious cherry and deep berry in the nose–fairly typical Loring ripeness and luxury.
Full and rich in the mouth, again: Brian’s wines are not going to be green vegetal Sonoma Coast or Teutonic versions–just expect it. They are ripe and round, plush with baking spice and easy barnyard. The *earth* quotient runs black-loamy instead of compost, and everything remains clean and fruit-driven. Gorgeous examples of the variety: every time.
