Absolute never-ending bubbles from the pale yellow core. Spritely nose, sharp and gaseous in early pours, reflects slight toasted almond and clarified butter with air. Rich and mouth-filling, no cheap tropical nuances at play here: all sophisticated grandeur and aplomb on the palate. The base wine a solidly-fruited and mildly-oaked expanse of light plum and blueberry, citrus kept to miniscule portions of balance, thick mousse the finish where a dry, gravelly spectre rises. Nice bubbles!
