Not quite sure what to think about this wine but it sure is yummy. I’m not big on tech sheets but would love to see the numbers on it and the process AND been a fly on the wall when the winemaker pitched it to himself or the crew. 6% alcohol and calling itself a spritzer, a “natural wine spritzer” to be exact and it’s full, rich, ripe and completely un-cidery–and that’s kinda one of my main taste-buddal and olfactory litmus I run all my pet-nat through. Lots of bubbles, good moussy mouthfeel, bright crisp fruit, and that dull ache of champagne in the background. What more could you ask for?
Not sure how much there is of this or if you can even buy it, it kind of sounded like a little pet one-off, but I’m recommending it pretty highly. You could have a lot of fun with this wine. Your friends aren’t going to believe it or you could just chug it yourself and not tell them about it. Unusual on the label and in the glass but not odd or awkward at all in the mouth.
