This is a shrill little thing–but it’s beautiful. Biting and alive, it hits with a certain sweetness on top of bare-bones acidity and sprite evoking perhaps a bit of Muscat? Lightly cloudy in the glass, nose pulling apple-y, cider-y *natural-ness* atop lychee and pineapple goodness. Raspy and mouth-filling on entry, the fruit razor-sharp, piquantly focused, and perfectly balanced. This is deliciousness with a fiery edge, the pear and nectarine going forever in the finish. A new project from Deux Punx: there are three wines, all proud representatives of the brand.
